Shabby Casey
I see you as a whole person, not a diagnosis. I offer mindfulness and meditation for emotional regulation, focus, and stress reduction. I also believe in the power of laughter.
I specialize in stress, anxiety, relationships, self esteem, career/life goal issues, postpartum depression, and parenting skills. I use psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral tools as needed.
Therapy is a place where we can be ourselves and reflect without judgement. Therefore, the relationship between you and your therapist should feel comfortable and safe, the way it would feel with a good friend. I actively listen to my clients and offer my thoughts, feedback, and observations. I also offer outdoor therapy while walking or hiking.

My role as a therapist is to help you tap into the resources and support I believe you already possess, while introducing new tools that will help you develop the skills to navigate confidently through life's challenges.
As a licensed social worker, I specialize in helping professionals achieve their life and career goals. Using a holistic approach, I incorporate various methods ranging from evidence-based interventions, to mindfulness and meditation, based on your individual needs. I am an active participant in sessions, working with you to break the old patterns that no longer serve you. I do not view therapy as being a “one size fits all” approach, and believe that the quality of the client-therapist relationship is vital to positive growth. Education
